After a crazy set of events, UFC 252 is finally over. When looking back at everything that happened, there is a lot to talk about.
When looking back at the main card, Daniel Pineda had amazing TKO over Herbert Burns. Pineda was able to get a highlight reel finish and out maneuver Burns on the ground. Making his UFC debut, one worth mentioning.
After Pineda's performance, Jairzinho Rozenstruik was able to step up and take out Junior dos Santos. Coming from his loss with Francais Ngannou, Rozenstruik was to show to that he can out due a former UFC heavyweight champion. At the end of the fight, Rozenstruik and Santos shared a moment and showed nothing but respect to on another.
Once the heavy weight bout was over, the co main with Sean O' Malley and Marlon Vera took place. Despite many people expecting Sean O' Malley to win, that wasn't the case. Due to injury that happened to Sean mid fight, Vera was able to get on top of him and crack him with a vicious elbow to secure a victory. With Sean O' Malley being injured yet again, people are know wondering what his future may hold for and if he can come back.
After the co-main event with O'Malley and Vera, the main event with Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic was an interesting set of event. With this being D.C's final fight, many were hoping the former heavy weight/light heavy weight champ could regain the throne. However, that was not the case. D.C and Stipe put on an incredible performance. After receiving a gnarly eye injury, D.C was able to fight 5 rounds with Stipe. Showing his level of perseverance and commitment. Despite going 3 rounds with an eye injury, Stipe was able to be the better fighter and was able to secure the victory. With Stipe winning, many are now wondering who will be the next contender for a title shot and if could be the legendary Jon Jones?
